No materials — this is a documentation, advocacy, and project management service tied to repair/replacement work.
Do you charge for insurance claim help?
No additional fee — it's included in any roof repair or replacement work we perform from an insurance claim. The only "cost" is hiring us to do the actual repairs (which the insurance company is paying for anyway).
Can you guarantee my claim will be approved?
No — and any contractor who guarantees that is lying. What we can guarantee is thorough documentation, an experienced advocate at the adjuster meeting, and 20 years of know-how about what insurance companies will and won't pay for.
What if my claim is denied?
We review the denial reason. If the denial is based on incorrect information (very common), we provide supplemental documentation and request reconsideration. If the denial is final and we believe it was wrongful, we can recommend a public adjuster who works on contingency.
What's the difference between a public adjuster and an insurance company adjuster?
The insurance company's adjuster works for the insurance company — their incentive is to minimize the payout. A public adjuster works for you — paid as a percentage of the final settlement. For complex or large claims, public adjusters often pay for themselves many times over.
Will my premiums go up if I file a claim?
Possibly, depending on your insurer and history. NY law limits how much insurers can raise premiums for a single claim, and many policies are unaffected. Don't avoid filing legitimate claims out of premium fear — uncovered roof damage costs far more than a slight premium increase.
How long do I have to file a roof storm damage claim?
Most NY policies require filing within 1 year of the loss event, but file within 60–90 days for best outcomes. The longer you wait, the harder it is to prove the damage came from a specific storm.
