Can you really replace a roof in one day?
Yes — for most NYC single-family homes (under 30 squares of roof). We use 8–12 person crews and a streamlined process. We start at 7 AM and finish before dark. Multi-family, brownstones, slate, or very large/complex roofs take 2–4 days — we'll tell you upfront.
What if the weather is bad?
We don't start a one-day job if rain is forecast. If weather changes mid-day (unexpected storm), we tarp completely and finish next day at no extra charge.
Does one-day mean lower quality?
No — opposite. A larger crew working in one focused push reduces opportunities for partial-completion mistakes. The 10-year workmanship warranty applies the same as any other job. Reference: GAF Master Elite contractors typically use this exact same approach.
Can you do same-day?
For non-emergency replacements: no. We need 1–2 days minimum to deliver materials and pull permits. For emergency tarping after a leak/storm: yes, same-day or even same-hour.
Is one-day replacement more expensive?
No — same price as multi-day. We just structure the labor differently. You're paying for the work, not the days.
How much does one-day roof replacement cost?
Typical NYC single-family GAF Timberline: $11,000–$16,000. Larger or premium materials: $14,000–$24,000. We provide written itemized estimates after on-site inspection.
Can you do this for a flat roof?
Sometimes. EPDM up to ~1,500 sq ft can be done in a day. Larger flat roofs typically take 2–3 days because membrane needs proper bonding time and multi-step seam work.
